Annual Plastic Bullet Vigil – Families receive unprecedented support

Tonight the families bereaved by plastic bullets and the injured who live with devastating injuries were joined by friends and supporters in their quest to have these lethal weapons banned.

The support included 1 Government Minister, 2 TDs, 1 MEP, 2 MLAs, 3 councillors and the City Mayor.

This is not only about remembering the past and acknowledging the dead. It is about bringing change. About contributing to the promotion of human rights. It is about campaigning for an end to the use of plastic bullets and removing them from the arsenal of the PSNI.

Many thanks to all of those who came and supported the vigil tonight.
